Getting to Amman
Amman is served by Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), offering direct flights from most major cities worldwide. It's an easy gateway to the heart of Jordan, whether you're coming from Europe, the UK, the USA, or beyond.
Visa Information
EU, UK, USA, and Canadian passport holders can obtain a visa on arrival for a fee of 40 JOD (around $56 USD).
For all other nationalities with a valid residency (at least 6 months) in any GCC country, UK, EU, or USA, you may also be eligible for a visa on arrival.
However, it’s best to confirm with your local Jordanian embassy or consulate.
Alternatively, travelers can consider obtaining the Jordan Pass, which includes visa processing online and offers discounted or free entry to many tourist attractions. For more details, visit the official Jordan Pass website.
From the Airport to the City
Once you’ve landed, getting to the city center is straightforward:
Airport Taxi: Official airport taxis operate from both inside the terminal and outside near the parking lot. The fare to central Amman should be between 22 to 25 JOD.
Pro Tip: Avoid falling for "freelance" taxi drivers who may offer their services with a smile but could charge you a "special tourist fee" (also known as "way too much"). It's all part of the Middle Eastern charm but stick to the official taxis for the best rates.
Wedding Venue & Accommodation
The wedding venue and hotel are conveniently located in the 5th Circle area of Amman, which boasts several great hotel options for your stay. For more accommodation recommendations, please check the Q & A section.
